TRAINING

Our in-house training is by far the most rigorous in the United States.  All our Specialists are trained in the same EverTrue Microblading technique.

All our specialists are trained in-house in our EverTrue Brow Microblading technique.  Our technique consistently delivers the most natural-looking results, never fake. 

Our training program starts off with a small class of 4 – 6 students.  We map out a three- week regimen, with theory and practical exams they must excel in before moving to the next level.  The first week is focused on how to draw the perfect brow, how to create each of the 60 strokes that go into the Bespoke Brow.  Although results look very natural, each brow hair stroke has a specific placement on the face to create harmony of shape and continuity of line.  Trainees draw brows on paper with brow pencils, and on leather the simulates skin with their microblading tool.  We also have them work on 3-dimensional silicone model heads.  

They deliver up to 80 pairs of brows drawn per day, each one critiqued by our Training Director.

We dive in-depth in color theory, teaching them how to read tone and undertone. We instruct on how to mix pigments that will heal to a perfect match, and fade evenly without changing color over time.

Each trainee also goes through OSHA Blood Pathogen training, that we use as a base for our own level of hygiene.

By the second week we begin to see models.  Each trainee works hands-on with their own model, first two a day, then quickly ramping up to four to six models a day.  We select models for them that are a good representation of our NYC and Chicago clients, which is to say the entire spectrum of skin type and color.  

By the time they are done with training and ready to see their first paying client, they would have worked one-on-one with up to 50 models.  This level of hands-on training is unmatched with any other training program in the USA.

Every step of the way, they are coached and tested full-time by our Training Director (and Master Therapist) Michelle Wu.

At the end of the this initial three-week training period, we assess whether they are ready to see clients.

For all our Specialists, whether new graduates or experienced hands, our Training Director and our Creative Director review all their work.  This ensures our standards remain high and consistent.
